Description

Upon calling a spirit one must know the spirit’s name, office, and the time of day that he walks; one must cleanse his body of grained foods, alcohols, and sexual pleasures for three days prior; then one must recite the incantation with another so that the second fellow may assist if the first is overcome by the power of the spirit. Spirits bound to a circle may only target one person, and so the second fellow may act as the voice of power if the conjured spirit chooses not to abide, or acts malignantly towards, the first fellow. --From “The Pseudomonarchia Daemonum”
