It’s a humble looking thing. Alive? I do not know. Sentient? Surely not. Yet the meat of harvested bodies self-animate once put to the wain’s bed. I’m unsure from where its magic comes, but surely it is ancient. Its wood has lost its coarseness and its wheels crow like the knees of a twisted human.
